Chicano Soul Legends

People forget, or are ignorant to the fact that some of the best musicians of the Chicano Soul, Blues, Jazz movement came out of San Antonio.. The WestSide Horns, The Royal Jesters, Reno Bops, etc. Guess what, we also have one of the best Jazz/Soul stations in the country. No surprise that JJ Lopez put this together as part of the quarterly Super Soul Shakedown. Musicians of all three historic bands came together that night. I can very honestly say, it was a privilege to witness the event.
